Mickens is a fabulous coach, so anywhere he is added is fine by me. I hope Bullough is ready, but he is already in a very established defensive coaching room with Mickens and Washington around him and Golden as the DC.
allowed Golden to concentrate on the entire defense. If this is true about the coaching moves by Freeman, then Bullough would be gaining a title for what he has already been for the last several years.

for the majority of their work, as he had done some with James Laurinaitis last year. Bullough, however, has been essentially, doing the LB coaching, while working as a grad assistant, for the last 4 years. First, at Cincy, then a couple years at Bama, then this past season at ND.
….so I guess that it does look like he is ready. This was just the opportunity to give him the official position.
soon, because NCAA rules allow a grad asst to be in that position for only two years at one school. So, the move you're pointing out makes so much sense for many reasons.
