Seems a bit odd asusual with On3 rankings, but they always seem high on ND OL recruits (4 straight years with a 5* OL) while ranking down the other skill positions (ex. CJ Carr).

He's in that category of "still growing," and has good technique as it is. He's one of the more athletic linemen I've seen in years (plays lacrosse and basketball as well), and that combination of light feet, good technique, and the potential to be a 320+ lb mauler should get him some more recruiting points. .
He had offers from Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Michigan, etc., and according to what was on some of their boards, they were all bullish on this kid.
But, I do agree that a 5* rating right now is unusual. I'm pretty sure he'll get at least that 4th star in his senior year, and if he really kicks serious butt, who knows?
Either way, though, I'm happy with his being committed, and if Joe Rudolph is that high on him, then that's good enough for me.
