Taking the family to the Louisville game. There's 11 of us going to Chicago, but only 7 going to the game. The wives are staying in Chicago and relaxing for a day. It's been 20 years since I've done this. We're staying in Chicago Friday night. What's the best way to get from Chicago to South Bend? I don't want to spend a ton, but its a once in a couple decade thing - don't want to cheap it either. I was going to rent a "party bus" (or something like that), but those are $150 an hour and having the guy sit there during the game to take us back would add up. Also, a good spot for dinner for 11 in Chicago Friday would be appreciated, We went to Gibsons about a month ago and it was a little disappointing. Thanks in advance. Murph.

My favorite pub food spot is Miller's Pub on S. Wabash and First Draft.
line is also an option. Last year there was a shuttle bus from the train station (Airport) to the stadium—I do not see anything on their website about 2024 yet. (Uber from/to the train station also an option, but expect surge pricing on ND home FB weekends.(
Or, South Shore from Millennium Station Chicago to SB. Shuttle in to campus. Check for times, departures, arrivals. Make sure you are fully aware of the stadium bag policy.
