We can't afford to be to picky especially with alot of these lesser talents we continue to bring in without hesitation. We continue to lose most of out guys with "Elite" speed whether to transfers or decommits and we need a few of them on every roster we cam develop.
But, seeing how Love, Price, Payne, and Williams, already make for a formidable RB stable, along with two other true freshmen who haven't shown their stuff (Kedren Young), I'd say that there's no need for him as a running back. If he were put in as a running back, he'd be more of a 3rd down back in passing situations.
I could see him as a WR, given his speed and good hands, but he's a shorter receiver, and best suited for the slot WR position, where we have plenty of talent.
Or, he could be trained as a nickel back. He has flexible hips, and can change directions quickly, and I think could thrive at that position.
Edit: Thanks for pointing out my mistake.

One pint of microbrewery beer should you visit my neck of the woods.
You find a way to get him touches regardless of who you have at RB/WR, he should be the KR man along with Harrison and getting a few touches in the slot as a WR and a few carries a game as a RB much like Love this year.
don't see the speed difference being much, while their size advantage is huge.
Now if you wanna rotate him and Faison at Slot I'm good with that.
Then it's about what to do with the other WRs...I'd take a look at Greathouse and Collins at boundary and Mitchell and Gilbert at field.
What do you think?
But shiftier, I mean honestly Rocket was 5'10 168lbs when he got to campus but you get your "Elite" playmakers on the field HOWEVER you can. We simply don't have the horses by the boatloads like certain schools in the south to just turn down these talents right now.

and couldn't pass admissions.
Definitely take a kid of his talent, if available, otherwise.

admissions. As the NCAA only requires student athletes be on schedule to graduate in 5 years, he may be doing great academically by NCAA standards and still be unable to gain admission to ND.
