For some reason, Trump needs to diminish EVERYONE who he sees as a rival... even dead people.
Trump clearly insinuates that HE is the end all and be all of true Republicanism... and of course never once ever mentions the party's founder, Abraham Lincoln.
He has briefly mentioned Ronald Reagan a couple times... but only to suggest that the Gipper wasn't all that, was a tool of the establishment, and worse... was a globalist!
Of course, Reagan crushed the Evil Empire (while Trump's isolationism would "tolerate" Putin rebuilding it) and Reaganomics set the country of a course of economic expansion for decades.
But far more critically, Reagan not only won re-election, but he won in a landslide, carrying 525 electoral votes, 49 states, and 58.8 percent of the popular vote. His Democrat opponant won merely 13 electoral votes from the District of Columbia, which has always voted overwhelmingly for the Democratic candidate, and his home state of Minnesota by a 0.18% margin. By comparison, Trump lost his re-election bid and will be very fortunate to narrowly defeat a hopelessly senile, heavily medicated fool who everyone KNOWS cannot possible survive another term.
Personally, I voted against Reagan twice because I was a dyed in the wool Dem several decades ago. Sadly, the Dems have gone extreme left since then and the Republicans have sold their collective soul to a malignant narcissist. I find it supremely ironic that I now yearn for another Reagan.
