changes to our lives...but the basic elements of this pandemic are still the same...a communicable pathogen that uses the exhaled air from infected human beings to continue living and spreading...all the while having the potential to seriously injure or kill those that get infected...you know the stats on that.
It's not rocket science...keep people (realistically, not 'Everyone') from being infected (vaccines)...and make it harder for the pathogen to jump from an infected person to a new 'host' (masks and social distancing)...meanwhile, we introduce new antiviral drugs widely available to all and we reduce the 'damage' to a level we're familiar with (e.g. seasonal flu)...then, we're truly back to normal...with some very important lessons learned for any other pathogens that come our way.
The rest of us could really use your help, and millions of others, here...hang in there a bit longer...it really is looking promising.
