The alternative, is surrender. It brings us back to Reagan's speech, in which he says that you can have peace at any time and that is through surrender. But, there is a point beyond which we may not be pushed. Our backs are up against the wall. So, yeah, their rules will be our rules, which means power will rule, and constitutional rules will be thrown out the window. It is very unfortunate that we have come to this place, but pretending we aren't here is not the answer.
