What, maybe 25-50% of the population must have been exposed by now.
My daughter (12 and unvaxxed) just tested positive. She has very mild symptoms, mild headache, mild sore throat and mild fever. Symptoms that wouldn't have kept her home from school in normal times and indeed she wants to go.
Wife (vaxxed) also has very mild symptoms, I don't have any symptoms, but we both sent in tests today. So we'll see. I am actually hoping I test positive as getting it out of the way without symptoms seems ideal.
I've been saying since the beginning that everyone was probably going to get exposed, Omicron is just accelerating this increasingly undeniable truth. And it's probably good. There are two paths to herd immunity and it's becoming increasingly clear that our current vaccines aren't going to be the primary path. So invite your friends over for a pox party.
