But apparaently that doesn't apply when the POTUS is a Democrat. They run a primetime, kangaroo court-like investigation when Trump actually said to protest peacefully, the Left flew in professional protestor plants to foment, Pelosi received National Guard support but then refused to deploy them on Jan 6 and now the committee won't allow questions about it, guards waved people in to the congress, and a few hundred people (other than the paid liberal protestors in disguise) mostly milled about as if in a shopping mall. The professional protestors arrested were released without follow up charges while the conservatives are being prosecuted to the fullest.
Now the Left's top leaders (POTUS and Sen Majority Leader) specifically call out targets on the SCOTUS by name and encourage violence, an assassination attempt is made on both Kavanaugh AND his family (the guy said they were also his target and he had zip ties to go with his weapons), and the AG won't even enforce the law of protecting the judges at their homes because they don't like the way the justice might vote on abortion.
I get a kick out of the cries of "whataboutism" that occurs all of the time because of the extreme hypocrisy being exhibited. But, in fact, the one sided application of rules and laws is one of the greatest causes for the divide in our country. The liberals want to enforce restricitions and rules in one direction only. The conservatives have had enough of it and are starting to push back.
