in no way is he entitled to them, no matter what HE thinks...in short...he stole them, and refused to return them.
Trump's attorney, Christine Bobb, had this to say about what the FBI was doing in Mar-a-Lago...
-----------------
The raid concerned presidential records that Trump removed from the White House when he left office in January 2021, according to Christina Bobb, an attorney representing Trump.
The FBI search warrant authorized agents to seize "presidential records or any possibly classified material," Bobb said in a Tuesday interview on the Dinesh D'Souza podcast. The search took about 10 hours, she added.
Trump says FBI agents searched his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida

Note: that Trump and his attorneys were given an "inventory" by the FBI of all items taken which they could publicly announce (i.e. just the type of material...e.g. "Top Secret"..."Secret"..."Confidential"...not the details at this stage). I'm betting they won't want the negative press that would come with such a disclosure.
Can't believe you are so naive about the simple concept that once Trump's term ended, he had no rights to any confidential government documents...in fact, I'm pretty sure there is a "Commandment" regarding the taking of things that don't belong to you...am I right?
