And a certain % of people who have been infected have immunity. It's possible that as many as 20%-30% of the population have preexisting immunity.
Anyway, if you add the number of people who were already immune and the number of people who have been infected (who haven't gotten the vaccine) to say 60% of the population getting vaccinated, reaching 80%-90% is very plausible.
