Someone will sue NCAA/NFL re freshman being able to declare for the draft. And they will win. And you will have kids enroll in college, quit after the season and never take a final exam. Forget about one and done, that will be the beginning of the none and done. And you will have a Heisman winner who never received a single college credit. What makes college sports (especially basketball) far superior to pro sports in my opinion is that these kids are student athletes, they go to class, write papers, live in dorms, take tests etc. And what makes ND superior to most other institutions is that they take these things seriously and don't try to game the system the way other schools ( hello UNC, Louisville, FSU just to name few in our conference) do. This incident is so against what we have done for decades I do not want to see it begin a slippery slope towards lowered standards.
