And then 1 yr pit-stop mid-career at an inflection point. Yes it was a QB coach role sandwiched between QB roles, where he went from a dying Shanahan regime in Washington, to ND for a year,to a budding Shanahan offence in Atlanta that got him his OC and HC roles. But the fact that he returned to BK at this stage in his career shows some degree of comfort.
I stand by my earlier statement that he is not part of Kelly's "tree," a nebulous term at best. He's in the Shanahan tree, full-stop. But maybe BK fertilized him a couple times....
