Former USC player/alum and head coach Rollinson to leave at the end of the year. Coach Rollo has been a legend in orange County/CA football but it's coming to an end. Can't say I am surprised. After the player beat-down, and all that has come out into the open because of the victims lawsuit, it was only a matter of time. Actually, it was only a matter of money. The victim's attorney is earning his fee as a lot has come out about coach Rollo's regime. When our kids went there, Coach Rollo was like a king. And, being a USC alum, he DID guide/push players to USC. Over the years that oiur kids went there, a few teachers tried to keep football players in-line, but most just went a long. Last year they announced a new President, a Fr Jenkins from ND (No, not that one). He came in, the scandal broke, and Fr Jenkins started an investigation. End result, Rollo won another championship and Fr Jenkins left. My guess is that now that the Diocese of orange is also on the hook, their lawyers are trying to do damage control before more previous players start remembering things & get lawyers. Bottom line, Coach Rollo is/was like Urban Myer. Rollo won a lot so a lot was overlooked.
