institutions and teachers...and thankful that my parents could afford the cost...therein lies the rub...it's getting harder and harder for lower and even middle class families to send their kids to such schools.
As far as which is best...in the CA Elementary and H.S. districts where our kids went to school, they have scored 985/1000 consistently on state wide tests which I'm sure puts them at or above any of the Catholic schools...the common thread IMO is $$$ and that comes from parents who have succeeded themselves and DEMAND the same from their kids.
How do we improve scores across the board?...lower the income/wealth gap (many details to follow).
btw, over 1,000,000 deaths from COVID in just two years should let you know that closing schools was the right decision.
