From a Health Care perspective you've essentially cherry-picked a country who's conservative leadership made one of the biggest blunders ever...i.e. "Brexit"...and the consequential damages include their NHS. This crisis has been brewing for years and will take many more years to rectify, even if current leadership finds the political courage to admit their mistakes and rejoin the EU.
As for HC closer to home, we're obviously still not "there" yet when it comes to a consensus on America's HC strategy...and I welcome a dedicated thread on this issue...let's just keep in mind that the USA spends 2X more on HC than any other developed country...many of which are doing much better than Britain in that arena.
