event has been growing for years now. I'm good with it since everyone in the crowd seems to observe basic golf etiquette (be quiet during swiings)...that beeing said, the 16th Hole is becoming a serious problem...fans are now throwing "Full" cans of beer out of the stands when a 'Hole-in-One" is made...aside from the 10+ minute delays that causes, the PGAtour is worried that a player, caddie, scorekeeper, etc., could become seriously injured with such 'missiles' and never be able to function properly again...HUGE liability for them. As a result, they want changes by the organizers, such as Paper Cups instead of cans, or even Netting (unlikely, tut...)...we'll have to wait and see what happens.
Still, it's amazing to see over 200,000 people at a golf tournament...can only imagine what Arizona State will learn from this ;-).
