See my postings on a previous thread at the link, I don't want to have to repeat what I've already stated.
I have several bolt action rifles, I don't have a problem with any of these, even the Barrett 50 cals, in fact I'd love to own one. I also have a 22LR semi-auto Ruger 10-22, it has a picatinny rail, collapsible stock, etc. I am also not talking about these, but I am not particularly attached to the thing either.
I bought this for my son to learn to shoot, the collabsible stock allows me to fit it to him. He isn't interested in guns at all, so... I have semi-auto handguns as well, but I love my revolvers way more. And semi-auto shotguns, I prefer double barrels.
I am not saying people shouldn't be able to own ARs and the like, I am saying there should be restrictions. Just like there are for fully automatic weapons. Being able to buy an AR-15 at 18 maybe isn't the best thing for society.
