the facts of the MIT Report, it clearly states that the "6 Foot Rule" is INADEQUATE in the effort to protect people from the spread of COVID-19...meaning that for "large droplets" the rule is indeed effective and advised, but for "small droplets", i.e. "aerosols"...much more is required (e.g. ventilation changes...time spent indoors or in close proximity...etc.)...I'm not going to go through it all again since it is easily "Searched" on this site...except to add that it stated...wearing 'Masks' produces "an order of magnitude" improvement in COVID-19 risk reduction.
As more and more people are getting vaccinated and data shows improvement in cases/hospitalizations/deaths, the CDC is doing what they said they would...relax guidelines. BTW, should the country take a 'turn for the worse' with summer holidays, gatherings of unvaccinated people, etc., you'll likely see a logical increase in restrictions...kind of obvious to most of us.
