You see it in the media, in the statements and actions of politicians, and in the justice system. Where the threshold of acceptable means exists to, in their mind "save democracy", I am not sure. If we were to use the events of the pandemic as our guide, "lie, cheat and steal" do not seem out of the realm of possibilities.
Now, Trump also is an "ends justify the means" type and he is antifragile. It's a fucked up scenario we are in where both Trump and anti-Trump are playing a game of chicken with, as Chris would put it, Democracy. It's not good.
The left wants to blame Trump for all of it and the Trumpers want to blame the left for all of it. I wish that a majority of people would dump both Trump and anti-Trump and choose a third path, seems unlikely but I'll vote my conscience anyways, to Conor's chagrin.
