It really doesn't matter anymore if better weapon systems in 2022 would've helped. The fact is, we didn't supply them. And we now are where we are. Take a look around, Curly. 500,000+ dead Ukrainians. 1.5m injured. Circa 10-20m fled the country. To recruit, they must conscript. Maybe 500,000 fighting men are enlisted. Meanwhile, Russia has over 1.2m men enlisted. It recruits and doesn't conscript. It has 150m people compared to less than 30m for Ukraine. It outproduces the entire Western world in munitions by a 3-1 to 5-1 clip. Ukrainians are surrendering every day. Russia has about 18% of its territory and will go to the Dnipro River, and maybe take Odessa.
It's over, Curly. Ukraine should cut off its rotting Eastern arm, declare neutrality, cut off Western military aid, and do a peace deal. To borrow a phrase from Chris, it should Finlandisize itself. The alternative is death.
