believe that 'militarization' of the police is not in the public interest (see link)..."Defunding the Police" is not a policy ascribed to by BLM according to a video on their website...and certainly not by the Democratic Party...what is recommended is a) providing more police resources where needed, but also b) taking some $$ from SWAT teams and other 'militaristic' uses and using them to fund non-lethal means of intervention.

Biden is putting a program together - with funding - that tackles this serious issue...I don't remember anything being done on it over the previous four years...unless violent crime just started on Jan. 20th.
