In the 90’s, I can remember one year they were in playoff contention and they finished behind Toronto. Paul Molitor left after that year. The only bright spot was Robin Yount making it to 3000. Once they built the new park and got a new owner, they became competitive and then started fielding good teams.
The Brewers had some rough years.
