He's on record as saying, "Now...how about giving your analysis of why DJT and his COS Mark Meadows, were in communication with Oath Keepers and Proud Boys in a Willard Hotel "War Room" days prior to Jan. 6th."
After doing some research, I found there is no evidence for this. Rudy Giuliani and other Trump advisors were at the hotel, and testimony is Trump called the hotel as Giuliani and others were looking for a "legal" strategy (Washington Post) to stop the certification. Also according to the Post, ONE member of the Oath Keepers visited Roger Stone there, who was not part of the efforts to formulate the legal strategy.
And according to a pbs.com article, "Neither federal prosecutors nor House investigators have alleged that anyone in the Trump White House was in communication with extremist groups in the run-up to Jan. 6."
So Ty has either been lying or failed to accurately comprehend what he's been reading. Given his documented history of being incapable of using basic logic correctly, I'll generously go with the latter.
As to Mark Meadows telling Cassidy Hutchinson this could be "real bad," this has already been explained. The Trump Administration knew plans were in the works to breach the Capitol building (as reported by both the New York Times and Washington Post) and duly warned the House, Senate and City of Washington to call out the National Guard. All three entities refused and now we have audio of Nancy Pelosi saying she regrets not doing so. And recently we learned the Pentagon also refused to deploy the Guard due to optics.
To say Trump "incited an insurrection" is not supported by the evidence, and neither is the assertion he was coordinating or communicating with the Oath Keepers or Proud Boys.
