Obviously, Dukakis, Mondale, Carter, McGovern all performed terribly, but each of them could answer questions and speak intelligently. They can't leave her alone and unscripted for 30 seconds. It's been said a million times, but her default when speaking or trying to answer questions is the middle school student who has to give a book report in front of the class and didn't read the book.
