One person below says Trump did not offer troops, which even contradicts the summary from LIZ CHENEY and her own staff on the January 6th Committee—as pointed out in the link.

Another person on this board makes mention of “Fake Electors” scheme which may be the saddest response of all considering there is no such thing as “Fake Electors”. I suggest they return to revisit their courses on American history. January 2021 was not the first time alternate electors (two sets of conflicting electors) were considered to present to Congress. Elections have been challenged for a long time, throughout American history. Please review the history of the 1876 election.

Agree or disagree, Americans have exercised their right to challenges elections for a long time, and it is the Democrat Party that is most familiar with this.

Nevertheless, specifically with regards to the 1876 comparison, if an alternate set of electors is not presented you loose most of your rights to any challenge.

Some may think it’s unfortunate, but in America we have a First Amendment that allows citizens—even Donald Trump—to challenge just about anything.

Whether they met at the Willard Hotel or any other hotel, the fact that the Democrat Party has decided to criminalize politics says more about them than Trump and his supporters.

This “Fake Electors” term is just another media creation meant to intimidate people into shying away from challenging their preferred narrative. The left has always believed they can control the population if they control the language.
