It's crazy because it went damn so fast. Iowa caucus seems not long ago in my memory. We had our house exterior painted in the summer. I can still smell its fresh paint. But I can't believe it's already 6+ months old.

It's crazy because too many unexpected events. Trump's political comeback is the biggest unexpected one. I didn't expect him to be next president. The best case that i expected is he would win the election initially, but a month long recounting or other legal challenges would eventually stop him from becoming next president. But I had no doubt from very beginning, Trump would be nominated as R presidential candidate. Another big surprise is Irish football comeback from its loss to NIU. The 3rd biggest surprise is Trump's assassination. Attempt to assassinate Trump doesn't surprise me and many people. But it came so close. If an inch closer, Trump would be long gone now. But it turned out an inch away. So, we have Trump in WH in 3 weeks. Looking back this is crazy.

It's crazy because stock market is crazy in 2024, defied expectations after big gain in 2023. The last time the market was like this, I think, is 1999 (dot com)

It's crazy because we got hit by 2 cyclones in our region in 2024. Nobody I know, up to 60 year old, remember we ever have had cyclones before. We're the least windy area in united states.

It's crazy because the open forum has become fucking crazy in 2024, i meant crazier.
