I'm sure you agree that we NEED FFs for all the myriad uses outside heat and power we depend on...i.e. we need to "Husband" those resources for the future. It takes tens, if not hundreds, of millions of years to 'replenish' them.
btw, Baron's link acknowledges Biden's opening of leases in the Gulf and portions of Alaska's reserves. He and his administration are keenly aware of the situation.
