Who knows, though? Maybe this is just the price of living in that area of California, like DFH says.
The LA mayor sure looked guilty though: "Do you have anything to say to the people of LA?"...asked 10 times, ignored every time with just silence, and looking the other way. All she had to say was, "This is a serious problem. We feel for them. We are doing everything in our power." She just pretended there was no reporter in the room, while the camera filmed her doing it.
