And each State keeps a database of who was vaccinated.
Similarly, when Americans show up to vote, there is a record of who voted, coupled with the voter’s signature.
Voter identification has never been an issue. Being required to procure a “voter ID card” to exercise one’s fundamental right to vote is designed to create an unnecessary obstacle, and is surgically calculated to impact minority voters. Under such restrictive voter suppression rules, Mrs. Smith could be well known to everyone in the polling station, yet prohibited from voting without her official Voter ID card.
Yes, I get that people like you assume minority voters are inherently prone to be dishonest and prone to commit voter fraud, but there is no evidence that strong turnout in minority districts means fraudulent votes being counted. It just means that there was strong turnout (albeit having to wait in a 5 hour line).
But, be happy that the Senate Democrats have agreed to a national standard for Voter IDs. The Republicans exercised the filibuster to quash debate. Why? Because Mitch et al prefers GOP controlled state legislatures to cook up their own recipes to provide the GOP with a competitive advantage, in order to maintain power.
