The US and Canada are already cooperating on a strategy to disrupt the flow of illegal guns from the US into Canada, which is a massive problem north of the border that people in the US don't like to talk about. It would not be a stretch to think we could expand that task force to address fentanyl and illegal immigrants flowing the other way. Perfectly reasonable approach and Canada should have been on this a long time ago. But Trudeau is such a weak-kneed prima donna. The new PM (not the interim liberal one coming this Spring, the permanent conservative one coming in the Fall) will be on it. Northern border problem solved. The southern border is a much bigger animal to tame.
