So Trump got concessions from Can &Mex but should have pursued trade war for more? Who is crazy?

Shinebaum and you don’t get it. This was a negotiation from the start. He wanted fentanyl and illegal crossings to stop. Both Amex and Can said no. Trump threatens hard core tariffs (at no cost to the US btw), and they both fall in line. China also gave concessions btw, as did Panama, Volumbia, and Venezuela……all in the arena of illegal immigration and fentanyl influx which the the president’s focus right now.
Trump then shows that he doesn’t want a trade war by showing restraint and pulling back.

Things happened exactly as we hoped that they would.

Things happened exactly as you wished they wouldn’t. In fact, 2 days ago, you were decrying Trump for recklessness, and for hurtling us toward a trade war. Now you guys are mad that it didn’t happen.
