Hang on.

(This is a genuine question, so I hope you don't lash out at me again like earlier in the week).

What is "dictatorial" so far? You and I have both agreed that we will need to tackle the debt issue through a combination of both tax reform and spend reduction. I want a simpler tax code and higher incremental taxes at the highest marginal rates....I would hope that we all can align that this is a good idea.

But we have got to take down spend. We have an I.R.S. that audits our citizens' income and requires receipts and diligence during an audit. There is no justification to not have even greater transparency with how our tax dollars are being spent. And accountability for those are wasting billions.

Furthermore, our trade balance is and has been badly tilted outward. We need to correct this as well.

What specifically has you concerned about dictator-like direction?
