Another American goes to another country, breaks their laws by carrying in marijuana needing the State Department to bail him out. Though a 14 year sentence seems a little harsh, he did cart in an illegal substance to another country, why are we cheering the release of this moron? He’s a complete jackass.
Not too long ago you could go to Amsterdam, order some hash from a dealer in a cafe and smoke it there legally but if you took some home (any amount) to the US and got caught by CBP you would have been jailed even though it was legally purchased in Amsterdam, why is this guy any different?
