Agreed. It is hard for me to get upset about any spending cut, no matter how it happens.

People need to remember: We don't have the money. We have to borrow it or print it.

It's not actually our tax dollars. We are stealing from future generations for all this spending today.

I'm willing to cut non-waste. Everyone else thinks their pet program is so important that we have force our kids to pay for it. OK. Fine. Let's assume every dollar spent is very important. Now, having made that assumption, we still don't have the money, so let's cut everything...cut every important program across the board.

Are there better ways to cut than how Doge is doing it? Maybe. But we will never know, because no one will ever try anything else. My grandkids will take what they can get.
