Out here, people will just ignore them, in terms of public places, and in terms of non-corporate businesses. It's a non-starter. The biggest thing, by far, will be mandated masks in schools. My superintendent promised parents/students/staff that masks would be optional in the fall. What if the county recommends masks? Then it becomes an insurance issue. Tempers were already running high in the spring over masks, especially now that data is so readily available that demonstrates that healthy kids without major preexisting conditions don't need them.
