'Special Military Operations', and take another look at why the Soviet Union failed so miserably. They could do far better by simply joining with the rest of Europe in democratic pursuits. Right now, by most independent assessments, Russia's economy is not one to invest in...again, the Oligarchs need to do some long-term planning, and make needed changes...sooner, rather than later.

Should that change occur, then there's no need for Ukraine to join NATO...and Russia would actually get ready access to Ukrainian assets.

Peace and Prosperity...now that's a deal worth making. Should that not come to pass, then NATO has had a long standing 'Welcome Mat' out for Ukraine (see linked NATO summary on this issue)
