If it helps to re-invigorate manufacturing, probably not. But, who is going to buy products produced by the US if their economy is based on US trade, and we aren't buying their stuff. They trade their goods for our dollars. When their goods are significantly de-valued, they won't get enough dollars to buy our goods.

I think Canada could be royally hosed. Mexico and China less so.
