And further down the memo, there's this...

"A 2024 report by the SSA inspector general found less than one percent of payments over a seven-year period were “improper.” Most of those improper payments were made in error or because the agency didn’t update its records, meaning the amount of fraud is considerably less."

Less than 1% error should be "Good Enough For Government Work", wouldn't you say?...unless you're an 'Anal Retentive'...doesn't strike me that you're the fastidious type since you don't tend to dig very deeply into issues. Nonetheless, I'm sure that if DOGE turned its attention to the billions being given to Elon, they'd have better success finding wasted taxpayer funds, especially given Musk's refusal to submit requested documentation on his operations.
