Republican Senators and Representatives know they will get curb stomped in 2026 if Musk is emboldened by funding Schimel.
Conversely, if tonight’s result in Wisconsin diminishes Musk’s capacity to buy an election or Primary, then GOP Senators and Representatives can be more aggressive in pushing back on Trump and Musk and DOGE without the fear of retaliation.
We will see what happens tonight when all votes are counted.
