Personally, I cannot imagine that Trump has ANY friends, because he just uses people to feed his insatiable need for narcissistic gratification.
THAT is what he gets from Putin, who he sees an historical superpower dictator, so that just interacting with Stalin's successor makes Trump "feel" powerful.
But if Putin fails Trump publicly, he will turn his narcissistic rage against him.
