No one challenges the fact that he is here illegally, and there are several legal provisions for deporting him.

Either way, the message will have been sent to others: Come here illegally, and it will probably suck for you.

You normally like big government. Now, when not in power, you want restrictions on government. Welcome to the freedom party, even though you arrived late, and you will leave early when you are back on power. I love freedom, but law-abiding American citizens come first, and criminals come last.
