No, in that the D indifference to the immigration issue until the last minute and it’s continued insistence that the economy was good despite the inflation were fatal, self inflicted wounds. The DEI and trans issues are bullshit to me but the party was tone deaf that they were resonating and they had nothing to combat them. They also had a top of the ticket incumbent who was viewed as senile, weak and out of touch and had to parachute in an untested person who was also viewed as untested and risky (oh boy how ironic that turned out).
