I was as big a COVID doubter in the beginning as anyone, based on the stats from China and the early edicts from Pope Fauci.
And I still feel that a lot of COVID deaths were actually more resultant from serious co-morbidities.
And I feel that most healthy folks, especially under the age of 60 are not seriously impacted if they get the disease, especially children!
BUT... there are still a lot of people who remain vulnerable, especially among our poor and in our minority communities.
I do not write them off because they are too paranoid to get vaccinated.
Death is death for ALL of us.
My complaint has always been that we never focused on protecting the vulnerable.
Instead, we divided ourselves along shifting political biases in order to take advantage of the crisis.
We reap what we sow.
