Eventually, they will run out of able bodied men (already) and then begin conscripting young men, and then boys, and women. Then, they can negotiate to bring in other countries fighters.

If they ever do get close enough to cause real threat to Russia itself, then we will have a nuclear response toward them and the countries that Russia views that they are also fighting.

The time to end this horrible mess was before it started. It was to never enact the policies and messaging that enabled the beast (Putin) to become uncaged. It was before the leader of Ukraine himself set up a dictatorship in response.

I care about soldiers and civilians enough to not waste their lives on an unwinnable goal. Like taking that next 10 yards at the Maginot Line.I think that there is lack of perspective on the actual significance of what was achieved here.
