for four reasons…

-free speech- he felt that Twitter censored conservative voices…not Biden

-fake accounts- Elon is not a fan of bot accounts.

-promote a free and open forum- Elon felt that everyone, no matter their views, deserved a platform. This is funny, because Elon now censors people.

-Help humanity- not sure how Twitter helps humanity, but this was a reason.
