Little to no opportunity for financial growth, though. I grew up in South Haven. At the age of 18 and upon graduating from HS, I was on a bus to MEPS, then to Ft Benning.
California on the other hand is the richest state in the country…world’s 4th largest economy. Like I mentioned, we generate a surplus of revenue every year to carry the welfare states like Michigan. You should be grateful that my state helps your dead beat state that can’t keep up.
Oh and I’m not sure where you get your information from, but California’s population increased by 100k in ‘24. Uh, the population ain’t dwindling. Close to 40 million strong. ‘25 is looking up as well.
Florida is OK. At least they bring in a surplus of 17 billion. You can thank Florida for picking up some of the slack too.
