Even if the Wars we are about to get into are justified, we can't afford them. The days of the US being the World's policeman are numbered because we have bankrupted our country (38 Trillion in debt and rising by 2+ Trillion a year is unsustainable and will result in devastating reductions in the purchasing power of the Dollar which is declining faster by the day). Even our allies are fleeing US Treasury bonds and dozens of countries are trying to join the BRICS and get out from under the thumb of Dollar hegemony and the SWIFT system which the Biden administration showed can be used to confiscate their dollar holdings. If you were a foreign central bank would you have your national treasure in an instrument which can be confiscated at the whim of the US President whoever he or she might be. I pray that the Washington elites regain some sanity but I'm not holding may breath.
