Dems oppose it if Trump did it...and would defend it if Biden or Obama did it.

On the right, there are a bunch of isolationists who would oppose it on principle.

As for me, I suspect it was necessary if unsavory. I would like us to do less of that kind of thing, but this is Iran we are talking about, a nation that regularly publicly calls for the destruction of the United States, and attacks us all the time through their proxies, and started taking Americans hostage from the beginning and continue to this day. They deserve everything they get. Maybe they will back down if we show strength.
