with predictable sea levels and farming/fishing regions. Global Warming threatens to melt enough of our glaciers and ice caps such that major cities and living areas along the coasts of the world untenable. Add to that, farming areas no longer being productive (see concerns over our Colorado River Basin states ability to have enough water). Btw, if all of our glaciers and the ice caps melted, the sea level would rise ~270 ft....now that's not expected, since we only have less than 50 yrs of proven oil reserves, which even if tripled wouldn't likely produce temps like the the earth had during the dinosaur age, when there were no ice caps...but even a 10 ft. rise would make a big difference for humanity...take a 'Shroom' and imagine life under those conditions coming on rapidly, like our CO2 atmospheric concentration is.
Climate Scientists and Physicists aren't sounding the alarm just for fun...take heed, zoom out to the future, and make the right decisions.
